Job description

As an ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP solutions that align with business needs. You will work closely with functional teams, ensuring high-quality code, adherence to best practices, and optimal system performance. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining SAP ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
  • Implementing solutions using modern ABAP programming paradigms, including ABAP Core Data Services (CDS) and ABAP RESTful Application Programming (RAP).
  • Collaborating with functional consultants to translate business requirements into efficient and scalable technical solutions.
  • Ensuring seamless integration between SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and third-party applications.
  • Debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance of existing and new ABAP developments.
  • Implementing best coding practices, performing code reviews, and maintaining development documentation.
  • Staying updated with the latest SAP ABAP and BTP innovations to drive continuous improvement.

Requirement and skills

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • Strong knowledge of modern ABAP programming, including CDS Views, OData Services, and RAP.
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA development and familiarity with SAP BTP is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development and integration.
  • Proficiency in debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting ABAP programs.
  • Familiarity with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), Git, and DevOps practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and effectively communicate technical concepts.
